Aside from the giveaway architecture, it could take some convincing that this addition to the burgeoning southern end of the Chapel Street scene was a pub in its previous incarnation. According to the designer, "granny decor" is the interior theme now. Indeed the scene inside is reminiscent of your grandmother's living room. There are gilded cupids, mirrors and candlesticks, plump armchairs and couches. Tapestries depicting medieval scenes adorn the walls. The open bar area has a few chairs around a fireplace, cupid statues guard each corner of the bar and a gilt angel overlooks the corner woodpile.
