This 120-year-old museum of two million objects manages to thoroughly cover the themes of art, science, history and conservation. The Natural Science Collection is especially interesting for bug lovers, as it includes 500,000 insects and 300,000 beetles. The art collection focuses on Staten Island talent, but also includes work by internationally renowned artists like Marc Chagall and Robert Henri. The museum also houses a library, a conservation center and a wildlife refuge. The suggested donation is $2 for adults, $1 for seniors and children.
