On the road between San Antonio and Cala d'Hort, a signpost marks the Ses Païsses archaeological site. The site contains the remains of a building that was inhabited between the 5th Century BC and the 8th Century AD (about 1,300 years). This is the only fully excavated Punic-Roman site on the island. Nearby you can also see a small Punic necropolis with about twenty burial sites and two tombs dating from the Byzantine era. The site is not fenced off, and it is easily accessible by car. Free admission.
