Back to CBS Television City Let's make a Deal is no Deal Let's Make a Deal was founded on contestants who were required to dress up in the most outragous and homemade costumes to get a deal. In the new version you can come dressed in regular clothes showing you made no effort and get a deal over others who followed the rules and requirements that made the show. In the new version Wayne Brady only walks in the middle and back rows and sometimes the front row (if your lucky). My husband and I went and we had great costumes, we were told over and over by production staff and others who worked there how great our costumes were and they even took our picture because it was so original. We created our costumes (we were gumball machines) and every one even other contents told us over and over again how great we were but Wayne picked a woman who was not dressed in costume and even another we barely made a effort for a costume and they won incredible prizes. If you look at all recent shows Wayne always picks people who do not dress up in costume and he has always picked couples but on 10/25/2009 on the 2:00 show he made no effort to pick couples. He picked a young lady who was with her husband but separated them even though it was clear they were a couple. She made a deal by herself and won a car. This was the only time in the show that Wayne made a effort to go and pick someone in the front This show should be called Let's Make A Deal to anyone who doesn't wear a costume and makes little effort to put one together. Maybe Monty should come back and show Wayne how it's done. I was so disappointed and I am sure so were all the other constants who made a effort to be original and were not to lazy to come in costume. If you are going to redo a show make sure that you keep the foundation which made the show what it was FUN. The fun part was watching people dress in crazy costumes and seeing the great deals those costumes got them. Monty never just walked to the middle and back he went everywhere. In the end I won a $100 when Wayne did the guess what's in your purse, he picked me (only because he knew our costumes were great) and if he did not acknowledge that he would have been the only one on staff that did not acknowledge it. My husband and I would have made excellent contestants as a couple team and our costumes would have shown what Let's Make A Deal was about (homemade costumes which were original) but I feel that the two young ladies who made no effort to dress in costume or barely had one on should not have been given the opportunity to make a deal. This should have been saved for the people who followed the rules and came in costumes. I will no longer watch your show and I will make sure to tell everyone about my experience and how you don't have to have a costume just come in off the street and you could won BIG. So you should change your rules to reflect the truth and not make people waste their hard earn money making costumes that don't matter anyway. It seems crazy to me that my husband and I could get so many complaintments from staff on the show and other contestants and Wayne not take the time to come down to the people in the front except once. Why do you need to get there early if he is only going to pick the people in the middle mostly and the back. Wayne did not even stay out when the camera was not rolling to talk with the people as soon as the camera stopped rolling he took off to the back where I assume his dressing room is. What a joke. Please look at show #1042 and you will see what I mean. My husband and I could have just stayed home or spent our date night eating dinner or doing something else fun on the strip. We just moved here from Michigan and this was our first date night out since we moved here and I wish I would have picked something else to do. Thank you. Dkretunski@gmail.com

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Feb 20 2008 Fun if you like waiting I used to work at Television City and I can tell you, its no Universal Studios. But I can say that its fun to see the sets get swapped out where they make the Young and the Restless and since you don't have to be in line the whole time, you're right next door to The Grove, the super outdoor mall with the Farmers Market, so you can do some shopping and you have a hundred choices for lunch.
Reviewed by: Babette from on Jan 11 2008 Great time! We went to see the Late Late Show. It was a great experience. The crew were very kind and gave specific instruction as to when to clap and laugh. The tapping took about an hour and they did segments for more than one show. We only waited outside for about 30 minutes and then led into the studio. Looks a lot bigger on TV!!! Very small studio.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 03 2007 don't let Rosie become Bob's replacement I have watched the Price is Righr since it aired in Sept. of 72. I was a new Mom and Bob Barker was like a family friend. As a family of 8 (we raised 6 children) we all looked forward to the show. Please find someone else to be host. The show needs to have someone who is not so over the top like Rosie.
