Great learning Experience!!!
The Museu Picasso was both interesting and entertaining. I was just exploring that area of Barcelona and just happened across the exhibit. I am glad I did. The exhibit laid out the life of Picasso in chronologic order, and gives some insight into his life. If visiting this exhibition keep in mind you’re not allowed to take pictures or carry bags during the tour (a free bag / coat check is provided). Try to pick a time that you are not near any noisy school groups. Finally, this is a sight defiantly worth seeing!

Changed my Appreciation for Picasso
I had always seen examples of Picasso's work from his cubist phase. but withit the Museu is examples of his work throughout his life. he had several phases and most of the look nothing like the cubist phase. Now I can appreciate his work. I do have to say the Guards were a little over reactive. I was worned for leaning in to look at the detail of the brush strokes, there was no line on the ground and plexi-glass covering the painting. I saw it happen to others while walking through. it was just annoying.

Review
i liked going there as seeing the paintings was very exiting. but there was hardly any place to sit down inside the gallery. i didnt get the chance to go into the cafe, but i expect it would meet up to your expectaions. i didnt like the temporary gallery as it was i bit boreing, but the permanint one was very nice. overall if your fit, and an art lover youd love it. but if not, then dont. if you do want to go, remember your not allowed to bring cameras, and the line is very, very, very long!

museu picasso
Bad service, many of those who worked there wore in a bad mood and had little patience, you could not take pictures there, no big works of picasso. The good thing was that they had many works of him.

I am very happy that I visited this museum. It made you really understand the essence of Picasso and the things that influenced his great works.

Early Works
You won't really find many of Picasso's masterworks here. This museum is mostly devoted to his earlier works, where he was still developing and finding his artistic voice. This is a good museum to view his early artistic history, but isn't very good if you want a broad overview of his work.
