Built in 1953, the Tamanaco Inter-Continental is a five-star luxury establishment. The oldest of the city's top hotels, it is located on a hill in Las Mercedes, a residential area in the south-central part of Caracas. It is both modern and elegant, with a new and an old wing. Many of the rooms offer a view of Mt. Avila. The facilities are excellent, the swimming pool is enormous and the hotel bar, El Punto, is one of the most popular in town. The nearby business and shopping district is within easy reach of the Tamanaco. Advance booking is recommended.NYC Best Hotel Deals: 50% Savings In New York!
