Back to Mandarin Oriental Hotel Great cocktails! The Cocktail Lounge serves among the best drinks in town. Rooms are small and not up to other Oriental standards. The overall place is kind of dark. If you stayed at the Oriental in Bangkok and expect the same service ambience level, forget it! Breakfast is ok. Value for money ... I think you can find better in town. Mulia and Shangri-La are two good alternatives.

But it is really good buy there esp for T-shirts for house/casual wears. You cant believe it is for as low as 50cts to a dollar (SGD).

We were expecting a world class hotel such as Mandarin Oriental to have a decent swimming pool, but the size, design and everything elses of it were not impressive at all.
