enjoy alot but could have been better
I visited with my spouse & 2 other couples from Singapore during winter 2004. Honestly, we would have enjoyed more if not for the gloomy-grey-gusty cooling winter. I could imagine it would be paradise if we're here during spring or summertime!! Where the surroundings are a kaleidoscope of colorful flora 360 degrees all over, an awesome view to be immersed in. Too bad, winter has offered us just green green leaves & grasses touched with black trunks. Very stereo looking and the cool winds can penetrate into our marrows. The tickets are a kinda bit on the high side making not so value for money especially during winter time. I don't mind paying such amount for summertime where my eyes are feasting the sceneries. The cabins could have been better improved with rain protectors. Extremely cool water-droplets flew into the seats making the long journey pretty unpleasant. Could I ask for more variety of food sold? like sheppard's pie, beef burgers, curry puffs, sandwiches, hot soups, steak, lamb & chicken chops, pork ribs, chinese noodles, fied rice, & dim sums. Can something be done to the entrance, it can be pretty dangerous eg slippery when it's wet during winter. If these suggestions are improved, perhaps we would love to come back with bigger crowd from Singapore & Malaysia. I highly recommend those interested to visit during summer or springtime.

OK if you like looking at bush and having fleeting glances of the far off sea and middle distance lakes

A nice ride
We lived in the area so we had our own transportation. This meant a round trip ticket so we went the entire day trip. We did a nice light hike at the turn around point, which I loved, but the best part of the trip was up to the first stop. Most tours drop you off and pick you up at the first stop. You are getting the best of the trip on this tour! Although I liked the entire day, this was the most scenic part of the trip and you really got your money's worth.
