Back to Embassy Suites Nashville-Airport Holiday Inn Would Be Better My husband had been out of town for a week and this was sussoped to be a treat for us and the kids to relax with him after his late flight in rather than driving the two hours home. Instead we found a dirty pool and hot tub, a room showing more than a small amount of wear, and hard beds and flat pillows. I had prepaid the room when I booked it but since I was using a debit card they still put a fifty dollar holding fee on my account, I guess in case I made off with one of their pancake pillows; they said it should be gone after a few days or to call back- I most assuradly will. If you are concidering the room for the "worl reknown" breakfast do your self a favor- choose a less expensive hotel and go to Shoney's. The eggs were greasy and over cooked, the bacon was burned, and the over all quality sub-par. I wish I had stay at Holiday Inn and saved myself some money; I recomend you do.

Reviewed by: Michael from on Jun 20 2007 mediocre The staff at the front desk is not the friendiest around. The gentleman who checked us in didn't seem like he knew what he was doing. The manager at the breakfast area, however, was very friendly. The room was nice and clean, but I have to say the location of the hotel was kind of odd. Plenty of restaurants within the area.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on May 25 2007 What a great stay! The Embassy Suites Hotel at the airport has just undergone a renovation and looks fabulous. We really enjoyed our stay and will absolutely go back. The kids love the indoor pool and the full breakfast was awesome.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Apr 23 2007 Not the best I have stayed at Embassy Suites in the past and have been impressed by the facilites. This Embassy Suites does not match up to the rest of the hotel chain. The "renovated" bathroom included moldy tiles. The furnishings looked dated, even though they were new. The lobby was average. A big screw was protruding at the entrance and ripped the hem of my husband's trousers. As a seasoned business traveler, I wouldn't stay there again.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Nov 11 2006 Not bad for an "airport" hotel Likes: Nice room - I like the suite layout. Comfortable bed. Free breakfast - good food, but make sure you get up early! Pleasant atrium area. Nice indoor pool area. Small but useful exercise room.
Reviewed by: David from on Apr 28 2006 Fabulous, would definitely go again Not a single complaint.Everything was clean, suite was very spacious w/ separate bedroom, fabulous free breakfast-eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, fruit, french toast, made to order omelettes, lovely decor and lobby, great indoor swimming pool and hottub, helpful staff, will go back to this one when we return to Nashville.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jan 26 2006 Don't Expect A Good Nights Sleep! Stayed 8/22/05. No light bulb in lamp. Shower head did not work. Bed hard as a rock (like trying to sleep on box springs). Found plywood under mattress. Staff did not care about problems, just said they were renovating, starting on the 9th floor (I was on the 7th floor). Staff did not offer to change room or fix problems. Will never stay there again. Location distant to main highway/restaurants and difficult to get to due to construction. Nice lobby.
