Interesting
When you get to the ghetto you can take a guided tour of the three ancient synagogues that are adjacent to each other. Of German, French and Italian origins, these are unique and amazing examples of synagogues that served the since departed Jewish populations. Each synagogue is unique in style and surprisingly small. You will learn about the Italian/Roman Jewish sect that has traditions and rituals different from those of other Jews. There is a bookstore and museum within the complex and stores on the Campo sell Jewish memorobilia made of Murano glass. There are several plaques commemorating the Nazi raids during World War II.
