Back to Tryp Habana Libre a bad experience we were staying in varadero blau hotel which is lovely.we done an overnight stay at this hotel with the tropicana show included. the first room we got on the 14 floor was terrible.there was water coming through the bathroom roof and the room had a dampness smell.we got moved to the 15 floor which was a little better but not great.the buffet restuarant was dirty as was the tablecloths and napkins.we would not return.

They 'didn't have' the hotdog or chicken soup that day (we got used to that) but the hamburgers we had were ok. Food was reasonable and prices seemed commensurate with other top end hotels. Place is flash inside. I think I had my first Bucanero here, a good beer. A decent enough stop for lunch during a walk along the Malecon. There is a reasonable market just down the road where we bought a painting and Cuba sandals.
