This museum has an incredible selection of modern art, including Picasso, Matisse, Delaunay, Leger, and many more, all housed in a beautiful art deco building. If you need a break from all the crowds in the Louvre or Orsay, pay it a visit!

Le Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris (Palais de Tokyo) houses the modern art collection owned by the City of Paris. The spaces are excellent and art is of first quality by most of 20th century Europe's great names. (It also houses the largest painting in the world in a special room, by Raoul Dufy). Exhibits change regularly, but there are often large gaps between shows, so check "Time Out" or your favorite guide when you arrive.
