The Best Antiques Shop in Vancouver!
On a recent visit to Vancouver, we asked the concierge of our hotel to direct us to some antiques shops. He sent us to the Granville Area on the west side of town and found quite a few really nice shops but one stood out above all the rest - Three Centuries Shop. The showroom was the most beautiful of all of them and the items for sale were beyond compare. The owner, Mr. MacKinnon who asked us to call him Bill, was wonderful. He spent so much time with us and answered all our questions with patience. He has a beautiful collection of French Empire period pieces, which we ended up buying $40k worth, including a fabulous gilt bronze mantle clock. There are beautiful English Regency period pieces and if you like Art Deco, he has some wonderful French deco pieces. But all the French items in his shop are really the most amazing. I would encourage anyone to make a special trip to this shop if you are visiting Vancouver. Cheers! Kenneth
