I have stayed here several times over the years. This hotel is a standout because of the staff - always willing to assist and very friendly. The location can't be beat - just steps from the historic district, yet fronting on the street Reyes Catolicos where one can easily hail a cab (from the cab stand across the street) if one wants to wander farther. Entire hotel was clean and in good repair. Get directions to Casa Robles restaurant and tapas bar. Only downside is the beds are firmer than american standards. Refrigerators in rooms a real plus. Didn't check out the new spa.

About a year ago, me and my wife arrived by car to Seville, on our way to the Becquer Hotel. Upon our arrival, they received us opened arms, unloaded our car, and drove it to their parking facilities around the block, under the building. Our room was very clean, well furnished, with plenty of space not only for the room itself but also for the bathroom. Breakfast was included in the rate, and we both rated it 5 stars. The location of this hotel is excellent, and we would not hesitate coming back to the Becquer, "our hotel in Seville"
