Not far from their original cramped store, designers Denise L'Estrange Corbett and Francis Hooper (pictured) now occupy grand premises in a former theatre that had been abandoned for 30 years. The roomy premises are home to international fashion, urban accessories and collectible objects from many parts of the world. Such is the designers' reputation world-wide that not long after moving into their new store they had a special visit from the fashion director of the Italian edition of Vogue Magazine. Labels in stock are World New Zealand, World Men, World Famous (a "diffusion" line of affordable, easy clothing) and World Baby, which caters for sizes ranging from new-born to 12 years old.
