Admission to this two-day event is free, but a little cash buys you an official wine glass, which can be refilled at any of the wine tents over both days. There are also food tents featuring New Zealand and ethnic cuisine. Two stages present non-stop entertainment ranging from classics and opera through to Irish music and jazz. There are also roving performers and buskers. Devonport is a charming and historic harbor side village, easily reached from Auckland via ferry from the Ferry Building on Quay Street.
