Audio Guide Boadas Cocktail Bar, located in the middle of Las Ramblas, was opened by Cuban-born Miguel Boadas in the 1940s and is now run by his daughter, María Dolores. Despite its touristy location, this tiny bar with no tables has managed to retain its original charm. You can stand at the bar and order from the long list of classic cocktails, or try one of the house specials invented by Miguel himself, many of which pay tribute to fictional characters or real people, such as Sofia Loren, Joan Miró and Frankenstein, while others are named after places in Barcelona.

Fantastic bar. You can drop in at any time for a quick cocktail but be aware they are really strong ...
