One side of the boulevard is the food market, the other side is the fairground market. On the trestles, you will find everything: fabric, shoes, umberellas, knick-knacks, notins, dishes, mattresses, second hand clothing...and smooth talkers who try to sell you their miracle products or five bottle of eau de toilette. The crowd is colourful, cosmopolitan, you can meet people and chat, you can rummage and discuss how to find a bargain. It is worth noting that there are other fairground markets in Lyon in the 2ème, 3ème, 5ème, 7ème, 8ème and 9ème arrondissements.
