Always a good, safe choice for the Cannes markets. Nice food, great service - even by non-French standards!

I have had pizza in Beverly Hills -- any possible restaurant. In Italy, In Germany, ... This place is about the Food. It is not about the sitting, waiting, or .... If you are spoiled in USA, you wont get service in France, anywhere, anyway.

This is the best pizza, bar none. I would recommend this restarant to everyone. I'm not sure if it's the crust (thin and crisp but not crunchy), the tomato sauce (sweet, full flavoured and authentic tasting - not sour or bitter), the olives (tiny, briny and with pits), or the cheese (not at all like North American mozzarella - can't even begin to describe its luscious melting quality and wonderful, rich taste) that makes this pizza so fabulous. My boyfriend is from this area and this is his favourite casual restaurant (he recommends the onion pizza, while my favourite is simply plain with olives). The pizzas are baked in stone ovens, and I expect this is part of the the reason why they are sooooo good.

I liked La Pizza, it is friendly, food beautifully presented, not expensive. Either for a couple, or a group of people. Mainly the evening time is nice, although I went during the day and it was equally as nice.

Nice food but not comfortable environment! Long queues, and service, very stressed and not pleasant. Even though, Cannes is a nice place to have dinner by the sea.

The other two positives reviews prompted me to talk a walk along to La Pizza. I'm pleased to see I was not disappointed. I was in fact delighted with the super pizza. The service was a little rushed, but it's to be expected I imagine - when you've got such an excellent restaurant!

La Pizza is a fun restaurant - the food may not be "exquisite" but it is good value and the Pizza's are amazing. Nowhere I have ever been comes close to delivering a Pizza as good as the ones I ate here.
