Poor value for money for those with kids
Went for a day out with twin boys aged 4 - had to pay full price 4+ so £10 each. Nothing for them to really do - lots of sitting around watching long adverts for Dairy Milk (shockingly shameless marketing!). The exhibits were tired and misleading - chocolate really doesn't come from beanville!! The thing my boys most wanted to see - the chocolate factory was closed - which apparently happens frequently - so the boys saw nothing!! Just a pile of stationary machines and another plug for Cadbury's Dairy Milk. On complaint, was told that it wasn't a chocolate factory but an exhibition on the Story of Chocolate and there was much more to see. The rest of the day was spent being targeted for more marketing for Cadbury's Dairy Milk. Shockingly bad value for money to extent that I asked for the money back. To their credit, they gave it to me. Don't travel too far to see it, kids will just be disappointed. If you want to know what it is like, then just record a few Cadbury's adverts and sit in your front room playing them on continuous loop while eating a bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk. That should just about do it - and it is a lot cheaper. I think the owners have got the balance all wrong - between marketing their brand and offering something of value to their visitors. Given the history of the Cadbury family, this is a pitiful departure from what they stood for.

i thought this was a exicting fun place to travel with small children or very lonely adults obsessed with chocolate. It was interesting on the historic side of the chocolate making factory i thoughly enjoyed it and shall go back in the new future.!!!

Great Place
While living in the UK (94-98) we visited Cadbury World at least 4 times. It was always great. Also it was well sign posted so it was easy to find. The whole family is hooked on Cadbury.

a little disappointed
For over £12 entry and and you saw little of the actual factory, a very sad ride and lots of projected images, wasnt what we expected, a a very generous 3 free small chocolate bars you would be better off taking you kids and buying them £12 worth of chocolate at the corner store and looking up the history on the internet. Not to mention waiting forever for a time slot!!
