Back to Iroquois New York Hotel LOVELY AND ELEGANT AND IN THE PERFECT SPOT!!! We chose this hotel because it was only 3 blocks from our theater and we didn't want to have to try to find a cab after the theater ended (impossible!!!). It was absolutely lovely! I have stayed at all the top spots and this was truly comparable. Staff was charming and extremely helpful and lots of lovely touches - musical chiming doorbell on every room instead of knocking on the door, complementary perrier in room upon arrival, complimentary bottles of water each day (great for sticking in your bag for all the walking you do).
Reviewed by: mom23boys from on Jul 17 2008 Wonderful...can't wait to go back We loved the Iroquois. A very quaint boutique type hotel just steps off Times square. The staff is incredibly nice. The suites are very nice: plasma tvs, turn-down service, beautiful bathrooms...even their free "forgot something" products are nice. Will definitely go back...
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 15 2006 Great Hotel! Will stay there again! I loved this hotel. Rooms were very clean. Bed is very comfortable. Bathroom are very luxurious. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. I will stay there every time I visit the city. It is also in walking distance of everything. It is between 5th and 6th avenue and only 2 blocks from times square. You get what you pay for here. It is kind of pricey but worth every penny spent. The staff is wonderful. Highly recommend this hotel.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 26 2006 Great hotel! I stayed in a superior room at the Iroquois. It was really fantastic! The rooms were spotless, extremely comfortable, and very quiet. I usually have a very difficult time sleeping in hotels, but at the Iroquois I was able to sleep the whole night through without hearing any noise. The beds were so comfortable that I didn't want to get out of them! They also give you thick terry robes, which are amazing. The bathroom was really nice and they give you very good quality lotions, soaps, shampoo, etc. They also have a cute little library in the lobby with books, newspapers, and internet. The hotel is in an excellent location, close by to more than 3 major subway stops. I couldn't complain about anything during my stay there. It was really excellent.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jan 06 2006 Intimate and Quiet We arrived four hours before check in time and our room was ready for us. The front desk was very helpful with directions and estimated times for getting everywhere in the city.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 30 2005 Dour and nasty they bill themselves as a luxury boutique hotel, but they have absolutely no staff, no telephone operator, no direct access to essential services, everything being routed through the front desk which is often irate when asked for better and more prompt responses. They say they have 24 hour room service but never admit that before 7 am their front desk struggles to put together something called coffee and are very ungracious about it. It was a horrific experience and I felt cheated of my money's worth.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 08 2005 Great Stay in Mid-Town On my very first visit to NYC, I had the pleasure of staying in a suite at the Iroquois and it was unbelievable! The suite was spacious and very nicely furnished. The oversized tub was great to soak in after a long day of shopping on 5th Avenue. Ideally located in mid-town and within walking distance of Grand Central Station. The staff is very pleasant (always a smile on their faces) and are very helpful to a first timer in Manhattan!
