This smallish hotel is perched on the walls of the Gibralfaro and its a short walk across the parking lot to the castle.Rooms are reasonably large with super bathrooms, very well fitted and in the Spanish style. Small balconies with table and chairs overlook the city of Malaga and the Med. Great place to visit in late January. The rooftop pool was closed when I was there but has a fabulous sea/city view.Breakfast is good value for european style ham, cheeses, breads, fruit and excellent coffee and tea.Dinner is expensive but the food is typical of the area. I would go again if I could get a reservation.Downside - quite far from the city centre and the walk down is steep but fun to do, going up is a knee trembler. Take a taxi. Overall a memorable experience.
