The nicest Sheraton in Nashville
What a nice hotel. I typically stay only in Sheratons because even when it's bad--it's good. This was one of the nicer ones I've ever enjoyed. The cost was very favorable, being less expensive than the downtown Sheraton, and having nicer rooms and amenities.

Great Hotel, Okay Location
This hotel is very nice. Room was clean, comfortable, spacious. Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The 2 bartenders at the Veranda (Nikki & Danny...aka Mr. Mustache) were personable, fun, and entertaining. The one downside is the location. It is in a business district rather than the downtown area and a one-way cab ride to downtown approx. $22. But I would DEF stay here again!

Very Impressive Place, the Lobby is Beautiful.
My husband and I stayed overnight in the Deluxe King Traditional Room. It was very spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. I'd recommend it.

Re: Not All That
I was at this hotel July 25-28, to be a five star hotel, it is not worth it to me. I mean there are no refridgerators in the room, no microwaves, they need more cable channels, no snack machines on any floor. There was a balcony attached to my room but the view was a roof. I really don't see what the big "hoopla" is about this hotel. I have stayed at many Quality Inns and Comfort Inns and to be all honest, those hotels are much better and offer more and are cheaper. I will not stay at another Sheraton. However, try the breakfast buffet it was very good. Employess were nice, those were the only good things.

We won't go back
This hotel is beautiful but for the money I guess I might have expected a little more. When I reserved the room we asked for a King bed with a nice view, it didn't have to be off the pool just a nice view. When we got there they did not have the type of room we requested so they tried to get us to take a double room, my husband was not happy already. We told them we had made a reservation in advance and would like the room we reserved. They told us they didn't have a room clean for us yet and that it might be an hour and they would call us when it was ready, they didn't. I waited over an hour then went back to the hotel and they told us the room was now ready. When we went up to the room we walked in and it was hot, but over all looked like a nice room. When I went to look at the view I was shocked to see nothing but air condition units for the hotel. Needless to say I wasn't happy and imediately called the front desk and told them I wasn't happy, they said they could give us a double room on the pool side. We took it. The next morning we were awakened by the fire alarm and jolted out of bed at around 7:00 in the morning. That wouldn't have been so bad if we hadn't been there just to get some R&R, but to find out that the alarm went off because someone burnt toast just made me that much more frustrated. Then again on the morning we were to leave we were awoke again by the people and staff going down the hall way delivering the bills. The final straw was getting our bill and finding out that we were charged an additional $40.00 per night because they moved us. I can honestly say I would have had a better time and would have gotten more rest at a lower rated hotel and next time that is where my family and I will go. We will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

loved it all!!
Our visit was wonderful and we cannot wait to go back again. We would not stay anywhere else! First of all, the hotel is lovely-the entrance is beautiful and the staff is just as beautiful!!! Felt like we were leaving friends after only 5 days.

I won't go back ag ani
My husband and I are Startwood Members and decided to go to the Sheraton over New Years, 2007-2008 while in Nashville for the Music City Bowl. We made reservations in their restaurant for a late dinner on New Years eve. When we arrived for our reservations, we were told they were out of food and would not accomidate us. That was bad enough. However, when we received our check out bill via email, we were charged $52.00 for a meal we never received. I have made numerous calls to get this cleared up and I still have not received credit for their mistake. I was treated as if I had done something wrong by not having dinner when I made reservations The Sheraton is a nice place to stay if everything goes as plans. I don't appreciate the response when problems arise. That is the true grade on customer service. Sheraton failed me on that.

Not at all impressed
For luxury hotel prices, I was disappointed in what you didn't get. I missed the free in-room Internet access and light "continental" breakfasts provided by other, less-expensive hotels. It was comfortable enough, but not worth the price, to me.
