HAITI doing
The atmosphere is nice and sort of elegant. It is already a Miraflores' classical spot.

Tourist trap
It is in the heart of miraflores, but service is terrible and food is not very good and horribly overpriced

Haiti Experience
Haiti was the first restaurant I went to while staying in Miraflores. As the weather was very good, I sat outside on the European-style patio and enjoyed a ceviche mixto and a few pisco sours. The food was excellant and the sevice attentive. It was a little bit more expensive than restaurants in downtown Lima, but the S/90 (about $30 US) I spent was worth it. It was a great experience being across from a nice park with the locals and school children making up the foot traffic on the sidewalk in front of the patio. This was my first time to Lima, and I always feel better starting with the upscale places of businesses while settling into the culture before I do the cheap-eats places whenever I am traveling abroad.
