The delightful fishing village of Kemah sits right on Galveston Bay. Walk the planks and make a full day out of shopping, eating and sightseeing. If you decide to spend the night as well, grab a room at the Boardwalk Inn without having to leave the area. Adults will be fascinated with the view of numerous sailboats heading out into the bay. Kids will have a great time on the musical animal carousel, the 65-foot Ferris wheel and the gas powered train. If you watch closely, you might even see the Karankawa Indians dancing in the plaza pinwheel fountain.
