In 1527, the Serviti family commissioned the architect Antonio Sangallo to create this building. Originally a public gallery, it was inspired by the building opposite - the Ospedale degli Innocenti by Brunelleschi. The rooms and suites in this hotel are decorated in different styles in order to reflect the architecture of the building. At all times, however, the emphasis is upon the splendid 16th-century decoration and frescoes and the painted plasterwork. The rooms offer views onto the pleasant Piazza or onto the garden of the Accademia delle Belle Arti.Rooms & Charges
