Back to Country Club Lima Really Amazing!!!!! This was an amazing experience!!! I did not expect much...I really tried to stay with Orient Express but I it was full. Well as soon as I saw the structure of this hotel I was completely amazed...this hotel is really different and charming, it is full of antique pieces of art given by a Museum of Lima...I read some comments about the carpets and the smell, but I notice that the hotel has new carpets and has been completely refurbished, keeping the old style and all its charm. The food, peruvian and international, was really great...and the staff really friendly, I think they should be really inspired working in this amazing place!!!
Reviewed by: llosa from on Nov 30 2006 Tired and tatty rooms I am not a business traveller and this hotel was tired and tatty and the rooms were in need of redecoration. The room I was in was a dark green depressing colour with stains on the carpet. In fact, I had to decline the first room I was offered as it smelled of damp (the whole floor smelled of damp)

The hotel is part of the Lima Golf Club an 18 hole club in the most trendy area of Lima, San Isidro. Close to great restaurants, business areas and shopping. The rooms are extremely elegant and traditional(spanish style architecture), bathrooms have marble floors and desks. The food at the Contry Club would amaze any gourmet taste.
