This museum is more oriented towards the spread of knowledge than to mere exhibition. The interested public visits it regularly, since it organizes exhibitions on specific topics, such as biodiversity, petroleum, communications and nutrition. An area that captivates both young and not so young is one that presents a sizeable collection of stuffed mammals of all sizes, including a giraffe, placed in a painstaking recreation of their natural environment. An extra-ordinary exhibition to visit. This exhibition holds an extravagant collection of 21,477 lithic, ceramic and bony objects from the 19th century. These are real objects extracted mainly from the Cantabrian cornice and the terraces of the Madrilenian rivers. The archaeologists and geologists who have put together these objects have done a wonderful job. An interesting exhibition to sum it up.
