We spent my birthday there in november. The garden is gorgeous... We had a lovely and cheap room on the street side. Of course, if you can afford it, large rooms on the garden side are best.

The location was fine and the hotel rooms are a good size. Disappointing that the beautiful balcony of our room and my friends room above had rats scurrying across so we could not use the balcony for our stay. The response from the hotel was, we cannot deal with it as rats are a problem with Nice. I have been to Nice about 5 times before and stayed in various locations and have never seen a rat before.

My experience at the Windsor was completely positive. The building is beautiful, and filled with art gathered from all over the world. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and really made me feel at home. The garden is exceptional, an oasis in the middle of the city! The meals were delicious, without exception, since the hotel chef is a real master at his craft. Great work-out room, sauna, steam room. And a great value cinsidering the great location and all the amenities.

We especially liked the beautiful garden. Very tropical. Nice room as well. We had one with a wall painting, but they also have artist designed rooms. The food was also excellent.

I have stayed here 3 times. The location is great, they have parking on premises and a nice little pool. Service has been wonderful. Best of all, the price is always right. If you are like me and spend very little time in the room, but want to be close to everything, this is your place.
