Hospitable host Gilbert Hernandez introduces guests to the tastes of his tropical homeland at this 50-seat cafe on Camel back. Tropical-print tablecloths and island artwork add color to the furnishings and walls. Entrees are contemporary takes on traditional Cuban cuisine: Picadillo (seasoned ground beef with olives, raisins and pimientos), Masas de Puerco (lime-and-garlic marinated pork loin cubes); Pollo Cubano (Cuban-style chicken, onions and rice).
