The Palace of San Francisco is an example of the Republican style that was fashionable in the beginning of the 20th century in the capital of Colombia. This building has an incredible ornate interior and was built between 1918-1933 by the French architect Gaston Lelarge. His other works include Palacio Echeverry and the Edificio Liévano. Until 1997, the Palace was the headquarters of the Government of Cundinamarca. In 1984, it was declared a national monument and is currently occupied by one of the biggest schools in the city, Nuestra Senora del Rosario.NYC Best Hotel Deals: 50% Savings In New York!
