John and Barbara Cole started their book business in 1946 and moved to this charming location in 1966. This vine-covered cottage was once the guest cottage of Ellen Browning Scripps; its lovely garden patio is where locals gather to quietly read before making their purchases. Each of the separate rooms of the cottage houses a different type of book; cookbooks abound the kitchen while an abundant selection of children's books can be found in the bedroom. Also available here is a wide selection of local history and guide books.
