The 90-year-old Hotel Atlantic is one of the finest hotels in the country and was once rated the fifth best in the world. Boasting every conceivable amenity such as a boutique, hairdresser and box office, it is a favourite with the rich and famous: Tom Cruise, Helmut Kohl, the Three Tenors stayed here, as did James Bond in "Tomorrow Never Dies".
