Central location across the road from the castle. Opposite Rugby stadium. Excellent service, especially the breakfast waiter (Polish?). Decorations and carpets slightly jaded but adequate. Comfortable and quiet. Stayed here three times and not disappointed.

Me and my husband have been having tough times recently, with the sudden death of both our moms. We have friends from Cardiff, so we decided to take a break and Cardiff had always appealed to us, although we had never been there before. We booked four nights in the Angel Hotel in June. After a long flight and four hours driving from Heathrow, we arrived at the Angel. We were greeted with friendly staff who escorted us to our room. Although we arrived at 4am, we were able to have a drink in the cocktail bar and relax and melow for a while. Our stay was perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were elegant and sophisticated. The restaurant was superb. Cardiff is a lovely city. Vibrant, exciting, beautiful and full of history. I would highly recommend Cardiff and the Angel Hotel to anyone, of any age, background or holiday style.

the angel hotel was a excellent hotel and the price was really cheap and it was very clean i thought it is one of the best hotels i have ever been to before xxxxxxx

Went there for my uncles wedding and had a brilliant time ! Food was fantastic and the accomodation was very comfortable! Dont miss breakfast it is great !
