Failed to come close to expectation.
Hotel Majestic....where do I start. This was not my first trip to rome, hopefully not my last, I love the city. Even the area where this hotel sits, Via Veneto, is situated in a nice location. Our experience at the hotel was downright awful though.

Majestic atmosphere with some scratches
Absolutely stunning setting. We had a relatively large double room with an even larger marble bathroom. Restaurant at 1st floor has a nice terrace overlooking Via Veneto. Nice old and high corridors and hallways, lots of marble and tapestry - one feels forced to be silent and impressed. Also close to main attractions, like Trevi Fountain.

Seen its day
We stayed for 4 days and it is a nice hotel but it has definitely seen its day.We had problems with the air conditioning and some, by no means all, but some of the staff just always had their hand out.
