Loved cardiff bay the hms gloucester was in and you can have a cup of tea on the lighthouse red and white ship. Also the visitor centre is interesting not a lot there but we did the co2 calculation on the laptop computer and if you try to get the kids interested it is free after all!!! There is a little shop but beware if you buy one of the glass ornaments they break easily so wrap it up well we had tears when my daughter broke her little gift. There was a french market and lovely crepes and pain au chocolte also fish in the bay with lots of baby fish swimming so near to the Roald Dahl plass. Felt like we were at the beach! You can walk along the harbour and there is techniquest. Roundabout with horses was a hit near the millenium centre.

Cardiff Bay has lots of activities and is a fun family day out.
