Clean safe and wonderful - festive environment on Sundays
It's a nice place to visit to see the very best from the Chilean artists. I havent experienced any bad like other comments. Go with confidence , it's wonderful surrounded by a nice artistic and very festive environment on Sundays and weekends.

be aware!!
I read all the reviews before going here, and I visited here since it is close eough from the Cerro Santa Lucia. Though the building was beautiful, the art inside was not as good as I expected. I mean,, I do not know the art, so pretty much it was boring. If you like art, I would recommend it, but otherwuse, NO!!!

this place is awesome it is the best go to it if you have the chance while your in Santiago. This is the best museum i've been to out of five others that are in Chile. the atmosphere is excellent, and i loved the artwork they displayed.

Bellas Artes: Magnificent
I loved the building and the setting, but something more important to me is that while it is a museum, it is not a dead thing. It is functioning, fully alive with people undertaking great art courses run by well-known local artists.
