Set in the hills that surround the city of Turin, the Villa Sassi is a historical place; not all history is pleasant, but after some years of crisis, this villa, is, once again, a good place to visit. The foods are, for the most part, traditional, and good: antipasti, agnolottini with Castelmagno cheese or lamb with herbs, but the kitchen branches out into the more creative realms with offerings like storion with orange and ginger. The wine list meets the demands of the menu; it is sufficient, but not extensive.
