Cecilia Jadue runs the kitchen while her brother, painter Oscar Jadue, is responsible for the interiors of this charming joint. Reproductions of works by 16 great masters form part of a mural 12 metres long that covers one of the walls. Lunchtime witnesses a throng of locals, who come in for a bite. At night the buzz stops, allowing for a more intimate and relaxed environment. The restaurant offers Arab cooking with Mediterranean influence: the antipasto mediterráneo includes bab ghanoush (a light aubergine and sesame paste), manitaria afelia (mushrooms in red wine with coriander seeds) and kubbe (pickled aubergines and fried aubergines and tomatoes). Crepé Gauguin with caramelised oranges and chocolate make up dessert. Turkish coffee tops off the evening.
