One of two original Waikiki hotels, this beauty first opened its doors in 1901 and has been the queen of Kalakaua Boulevard ever since. The turn-of-the-century architecture is lovely; the lyrical Colonial/Hawaiian feeling has been maintained throughout many additions and expansions. Over the years this fine hotel has accumulated a collection of beautiful Hawaiian quilts that are now displayed in the halls and meeting areas.
