This beautiful building was completed in 1715 for the Palace of the Rulers of Chile and it was constructed during Andrés de Ustáriz's time in office. Since 1820 it has served as the President of Chile's Palace. In 1882 at the base of the old walls they began the construction of the Central Post Office.
