A large cinema that seats more than 800 people and is situated in the Bohemian area of Mulato Gil Square, where a number of restaurants, bars, pubs, theatres and cinemas can be found. Mainly students, artists and intellectual go there. The Alameda cinema shows Chilean and Latin American festivals and foreign art house films. It is a spacious cinema, with comfortable seats and good sound quality. Next to the cinema there is an internet cafe where one can eat or drink something and use the computers. Tickets cost around Bs2200, Wednesdays are half price and for students and senior citizens entry is reduced to Bs1800.
