Jorge Pacheco, 'El Coco', is the owner of this succesful restaurant. It is definitely one of the most famous seafood places in Santiago, which explains why it is always packed with tourists and often visited by national and international celebrities. You can buy El Coco's own signed recipe book. It is not a cheap restaurant, but the price is worth it. Booking is essential.

Excellent King Crab
We visited on a less than busy night, so experienced superb service. King crab was superb, as was crab mornay, sea bass with roquforte sauce and conger eel. We tried an organic chardonnay by Carmen Nativa & it was outstanding. 2 course dinner with drinks & wine cost £55 (USD93). We think it was well worth it & would go again.

No Longer Exists
Regrettably, although we wanted to eat at this restaurant when we visited Santiago in February - May...
