Do not stay here
For the 1st night i stayed on the second floor...i could here every song in the night club until 2.45 am! Upon complaining they could not give a toss. I managed to move to the top floor the next day..the room was quieter (although there was still a faint vibration/thud running through the hotel), the tv didn't work and the plug wires were exposed. Nasty.

DUMP
Total dump - definetly NOT a three star hotel. The rooms were dirty, the club downstairs was so loud that my makeup bag fell off the chair in the room from the vibrations. Don't stay here.

NOISY!!!!
I requested a quiet room on the 5th floor of the hotel due to early travel plans. There was a band playing in the basement my last night there and the sound was so loud it traveled all the way up to my room until 3 am! I went to the night desk clerk at 1 am and asked what to do about it. All I got was a shrugging of the shoulders and told they would be playing until 2:45 am. In other words, too bad for me! I will never go back to that hotel or recommend it to anyone who needs a good nights sleep in a hotel.

Location Location Location
This hotel is a great value right on the edge of the trendy Temple Bar area. It is within walking distance to most Dublin sights and the popular O'Donnell St. shopping.

A Great Location
The best thing I can say about the Blooms Hotel is its location. It is located in the Temple Bar District, which includes many nightclubs and pubs. The pub in the hotel is very lively as well, which can make it a little noisy at night. So if you don't mind the noise level, the hotel is great.

Old world charm in great location
This is charming hotel in a vibrant, well situated location leaving you able to walk to almost every place you'd want to go in Dublin. Terrific bar, with live Irish music, on premises.
