Glad We Chose This Tour!
Wonderbus Blue Mountains Tour Reviews. In April this year we did a day trip to the Blue Mountains just west of Sydney, Australia. Not only was it a trip to the Blue Mountains, but it also included a visit to a winery for winetasting, a great wildlife park with only Australian animals and a harbour cruise at the end of the day. We had a brilliant day out. I could thoroughly recommend this day tour, everything about it was great. If you like wines, you'll love the Wonderbus Blue Mountains tour. We had such a great day out, I thought it was worth taking the time to post a review.
Would you recommend this to a friend?
Yes

Why? / Why Not?
The tour was great value if you take the currency exchange into consideration. The itinerary was excellent. All the other day trips on offer seemed to look the same, we loved this day trip because it included the winery, wildlife park and harbour cruis

Cancelled trip
I pre-booked a Wonderbus tour of Blue Mountains 2 months before we arrived in Sydney. On the morning of the tour we were told to be outside our hotel at 7:30. This we duly did. Our hotel concierge saw us waiting and came over to tell us that Wonderbus had called at 7:20 to cancel the trip. I called Wonderbus and was told that they had a large cancellation and that they wouldnt run the trip that day as it would have been just us and another couple. Fair enough you might say but I then got him to admit that the people who had cancelled had done it so late that they had been charged for the trip anyway. Therefore I cannot understand why they didnt honour our (and another couple's) booking. Wonderbus didnt go out of their way to make it up to us at all and simply stated that we could go on the trip the next day if we liked. So, all in all, I would advise you to avoid using Wonderbus at all costs - they are greedy and do not honour customer bookings.

Blue Mountains + Winetasting Combined to Make an Awesome Day Out
We have just taken an absolutely wonderful day trip with Wonderbus Tours. The tour looked original from the time we found it on the internet. The itinerary included the Blue Mountains, Featherdale Wildlife Park, Winery, Winetasting and a Harbour Cruise. The combination of the 4 experiences made for a really great day out. The winery we visited was just divine, we may as well have been in a little winery in the south of France let alone the Australian bush. We tried wines, bought some wines to take home and just had a really good day out. Our Guide was also great. Just an easy going Aussie, friendly fun and all the time in the world for all our silly questions.
