One of the great attributes of the University of Washington is its dogged determination to provide as wide a variety of culture to the general populace as possible. This year-round series, which imports top talent in classical and cutting-edge music and dance from around the world, can't be beat. Individual shows often sell out in advance, but you never know, you might get a last-minute ticket to a show of the Paul Taylor Dance Troupe or a lush evening with pianist Evgeny Kissin. It's usually well worth the effort to see these fantastic performers.
