The idea of a museum for public baths in itself is queer add to that a permanent collection and you have weirdness unlimited. However, the Permanent Collection Of The Caesaraugusta Public Bath Museu is one such exhibit that is sure to make your eyes pop. Latrines that could take 20 persons at one go and Roman styled baths of an era gone by are on display here. Marble slabs embellished with intricate motifs are also showcased. You must have heard of spacious and roomy Roman baths. Now you can steal a chance to check out an ancient Roman styled bath at the Caesaraugusta Public Baths Museum. In 1982-83, remains of a large pool in a Roman public bath was discovered in Calle San Juan y San Pedro. Located in the center of Caesaravgvsta, this museum displays the very few remains of the large porticoed pool left out of the pre-existing dressing rooms, hot and cold rooms and gymnasium. Equally fascinating are the wall linings with a set of marble slabs decorated with exquisite motifs. For those interested in the culture of Zaragoza, this place is a must-visit.
