Established in 1957, Central Park Plaza was once a thriving market with two major supermarkets and a big department and hardware store, making it one of the largest shopping districts of North Buffalo. However, the area fell into disarray in the 1980s. After being restored in 2002, it has become a community plaza. The 'Save a Lot' food store was established in place of the defunct Quality Market. The plaza also includes a dollar store and a fitness center. The area around the plaza has been spruced up by paving the footpath and adding a lot of trees to the picture. A great way to shop in Buffalo's community establishment!
