Absolutely love the zoo
The Audubon Zoo is one of the top rated zoos in the country and now I definitely know why. Every part of the zoo is unique and interesting. It's fairly large but you can still see everything in one day. There is a part of the zoo called the Discovery Walk where people can touch all sorts of animals, and there are a lot of rare and endangered species in the zoo. The swamp area of the zoo is obviously one of a kind and authentic Louisiana. All of the exhibits are very well kept and suit the natural enviroment of the animal. The animals never look bored because they have a lot of enrichment and things to play with. I go to the zoo as often as I can because it is just awesome!

Great For the Day!!
We love going to the audubon zoo. The atomosphere is always great for families. There animals all look very healthy, happy, and well maintained. I have taken my family several times and each time we enjoy it. There is also great deals if you do the Zoo & Aquarium together.

i dislike it alot!!!
i dont ever want to go to that place again because it was really messy. the habitats for the animals were dirty and looked like it was never cleaned. the air is too humid, and restaurants smell like old baby diapers!!! it was nasty. and not only that...there was nothing to do if you went like at 10:00 am becasue the shows start at 3 and you will die in that sun!!! and also when we went to see all the habitats and animals their cages were way too small!! what kind of life is that. the snakes didnt have enough room to do anything, only to slither a couple of places, and the jaguars had the smallest places of all!! one cage was the size of a porta potty!!! and all the animals got only fed two times a day. and their water was filthy!!i dont recommend this place to anyone!!! they shouldnt get credit for their nonsense cheap work!!!

Not bad
This zoo is not bad, not a huge zoo with big selection, but with that pricing, not bad at all.. One thing though, the zoo is closed at 5PM, which is pretty early, especially with the hot weather in New Orleans in summer, it would be nice if they open later, so people can enjoy the cooler weather.

One of the best...
The busy season is the summer when most of the tourists are in town. I suggest going in early spring or late fall, so that you can avoid the humidity during the summer months.

This is a Wonderful Zoo!
The zoo was actually the nicest part of our visit to New Orleans. It had many animals and the surroundings were very natural. It was very clean and many nice exhibits. We enjoyed the very first show when coming in that had a snake and chicken that the grand kids could actually touch. I highly recommend this zoo. IMO it is as good or better than big zoo I've ever been to. Well worth the money.

Wonderful Zoo
The Audubon Zoo was redone and is a wonderful place to visit. I spent many weekends with my oldest child and we just enjoyed our times there. There is always something different to see. Our favorite was the swamp like atmosphere.

Will go back
When I was in New Orleans a couple of years ago I visit the Zoo. I just love it. When I go back to Lousiana You can bet your dollar I will go back for a visit. That is my home but I go back every now and then.

Nawlins Zoo-one of thee best!
Great atmosphere but very hot and very humid in the summer! The animal displays are many and well kept and well done. The primates are wonderful and abundant!
