Part of what makes the holiday season so special is the joy that radiates from the children as they see Santa Claus himself leading a magical parade filled with festive floats. The parade runs from Elk Street to Buffalo Street.

A block of Banff Avenue becomes a car free zone during this annual festival celebrating Mother Earth. Environmental and wildlife protection organizations set up booths on Banff Earth Day and hand out information. Meanwhile, roving musicians, clowns and other performers keep the crowd entertained. Special eco-friendly activities are organized as well. This colorful festival includes craft tables and plenty of activities for children and is a perfect event for families. Just make sure you recycle those water bottles! This is a free event.
